Chad Plunkett

Chad received his Bachelor of Fine Art from Texas Tech University and earned his Master of Fine Art with an emphasis in sculpture from Clemson University. After teaching architectural delineation in the College of Architecture at TTU, he returned to school to develop his passion for design earning a Master of Landscape Architecture. Chad Plunket is the Director of the Charles Adams Studio Project (CASP). CASP is a non-profit in Lubbock, Texas that provides studio space to working artists.

He continues to pursue his own artistic endeavors at his north Lubbock studio filled with paint, steel, wood, paper and a variety of tools. The work Chad produces is diverse in materials and aesthetics. The work is also diverse in terms of scale as he has created large public art pieces for Ballet Lubbock, Covenant Hospital, and the Lubbock Memorial Arboretum as well as objects that fit on a shelf. Chad's artistic output also includes collaborative endeavors with the Button Project, RJP Nomadic Gallery and Free Range Creative.
