B.C. Gilbert

In 1997, B.C. Gilbert graduated with a BFA in Painting from Cameron University, Lawton, OK. He continued his education at Texas Tech University graduating in 2001 with a MFA. He currently has work displayed at The Charles Adams Gallery in Lubbock, Tx.

“For the first 25 years of my art career, I primarily identified as a mixed media painter and printmaker. Although I have a sculpture background, I primarily steered away from it as a medium for various reasons. The work I am currently producing is inspired by a lot of the same things that fueled my past work, just now in a different format.” - B.C. Gilbert
