Maisie Alford

Maisie Marie Alford b.1983, is an artist who lives and works in Lubbock, Texas. She received her BFA from Texas Tech University in 2011.

Maisie has exhibited in over 40 solo, invitational, group, and juried exhibitions, with recent exhibitions including; Rural Elements, Marfa Open 2018, 5th Annual Artspace111 Regional Juried Exhibition curated by Christina Rees of Glasstire, Design on a Dime NYC, and Sweet Sixteen at Fl!ght Gallery in San Antonio.

Her work has been featured in publications including Glasstire’s Panhandle South Plains Laissez-Faire, written by artist and curator Hills Snyder.

Maisie’s art is in private collections around the globe and is sold through Saatchi Art Online and Charles Adams Gallery in Lubbock, Texas. She has participated in artist residencies including The Kienholz Schoolhouse Residency in Hope, Idaho and the Creative Passage New Mexico Residency in Vadito, New Mexico.

Maisie has also curated/co-curated, planned, organized, designed and installed many exhibitions over the last decade including; “44 Artists from Texas” (a three-part exhibition series), “Hills Snyder: Altered States (Part Two)”, “Ice Cream, You Scream”, and Bruce Lee Webb “UFOs Are Real”.
