Melinda Green Harvey
Melinda lives in Lubbock, on the High Plains of Texas, where the open skies and long horizons let her focus on forms in the built environment. She finds great beauty in decaying buildings.
Like a lot of people, Melinda has college degrees that she doesn’t use. Hers are in architecture and urban planning. Melinda is currently working as a grants writer for a large non-profit agency.
Her photo series ‘Where the Wind Gallops’ is in the permanent collection of Texas Tech University Library’s Southwest Collection. Her work has been shown in several locations in Texas, and in Kamloops, British Columbia.
