Sara Waters
Sara Waters, who received her MFA from Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana, taught Sculpture, Ceramics, and Drawing for 36 years at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas.
Her work has been exhibited throughout the United States, and her sculpture in private and public collections including the Institute of Contemporary Ceramic Art in Shigaragi, Japan, Southwestern Bell, Compaq Computers, and the Texas Tech University Museum.
Ms. Waters has been an artist resident at Dorland Community for the Arts in Temecula, California, Shigaragi, Japan, Michigan Center for the Arts, and spent the spring semester of 2001 on sabbatical in the Shetland Islands. In addition to being a visual artist, she has written and produced two albums of music, that have been performed in conjunction with her exhibitions, and as a visiting artist. She currently works and produces art at her studio in Slaton, Texas.
