Von Venhuizen

Von is currently an Associate Professor of Art – Ceramics, at Texas Tech University, in Lubbock, Texas.  Before Texas Tech University, Von was the Production Manager and Educational Coordinator for Dahlquist Clayworks, in Des Moines, Iowa. 

He received his M.F.A. in 1996 from Indiana University – Bloomington , Indiana.  After receiving his MFA, Von was hired at Herron School of Art for the summer, then promptly employed as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Art at Michigan State University for 3 years. 

He has pieces in permanent University collections, museums, and private collections. He is also published in numerous books (i.e 500 Ceramic Sculptures), and have been in over 100 juried exhibitions, solo and two person exhibitions.
